Use of sound in my film

Like in the short clip 'On the Ice' I will amplify the natural sounds of nature in the cemetery  scenes to emphasize the idea that the main character is isolated, which is why sounds we wouldn't normally hear or pay much attention to such as the wind, leaves rustling and heart beating can be heard clearly. This conforms to one of the conventions of horror films and produces a tense atmosphere for the audience who anticipate what is going to happen.
